I started my IT engineering career as a System Engineer in British Textile and British Coal industries in the UK.

As an IT Professional with over 16 years in a diverse background and an extensive range of industrial and educational organisation experience having worked in United Kingdom, Netherlands, Canada, USA, New Zealand and Middle East in various IT & educational positions as a System Engineer Consultant, IT Product Trainer, Lecturer of IT, Head of IT Academy and IT senior lecturer in both private and public sectors.

Further to my industrial and educational experience in different parts of the world and New Zealand, I have been involved with higher and further education throughout my industrial experience in the UK, Canada, the USA, UAE, Qatar, and tertiary education in New Zealand from 2013 onwards.

Outside work, I enjoy travelling, football, current affairs, classical music and outdoor challenges.

Postgraduate Engineering education, IT Networking / Management, Control & Computing System Engineering Management.

Miscellaneous

 

2015 – Present: Developing and introducing industrial certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco and ITIL to main stream tertiary education at AIS.  

2016 – Present: Working on the following paper as part of a team, The Effect of Moodle as a Learning Management System (LMS) as Perceived by the Lecturers and Students of Auckland Institute of Studies (AIS)

2016: Participate in writing “The student laptop roll-out” for CITRENZ
