New Zealand Diploma in Hospitality Management (Level 6)

The New Zealand Diploma in Hospitality Management (Level 6) is an intermediate-level qualification comprising 7 courses for students seeking to gain a firm grasp of the basic principles of hospitality management and their application.

A one-year intermediate-level qualification designed for people looking to advance into more supervisory and senior roles in hospitality operations.

Study a Hospitality Management Diploma as a pathway into the Bachelor of Business

The Bachelor of Business has a Tourism and Hospitality Management study pathway and is designed to enable students to become problem-solving professionals who can adapt to a fast-changing world and make a meaningful contribution to society, locally and internationally.

Graduates of the New Zealand Diploma in Hospitality Management (Level 5) may have 120 advanced standing credits awarded towards the Bachelor of Business degree and graduates of the New Zealand Diploma in Hospitality Management (Level 6) may have an additional 120 advanced standing credits awarded towards the Bachelor of Business.

Entry Requirements

Successful completion of the New Zealand Diploma of Hospitality Management (Level 5), or equivalent New Zealand qualification; or
Equivalent overseas qualification; or
Demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills; and
IELTS 6.0 with no band below 5.5 / TOEFL iBT 60 (with a writing score of 18) / Pearson 50 / NZCEL L4; and
17 years and over

International Students

2023 Programme Fees: NZ$20,000 per 120 credits 
Resource Fees: NZ$960 
Total: NZ$20,960 per 120 credits 
Plus a compulsory Student Services Fee of NZ$300 per year (or NZ$30 per month or part thereof).

Domestic Students
